Saving Gaia

Plastic, plastic everywhere. Love it, loathe it. It's the thing we can't do without. Each week I would diligently gather all these recyclables and pack them up nicely in a big bag for the old Ah Soh to handpick them up later. I dont know how far she would walk each day rummaging thru people's trash bins scouring for anything plastic. The beaming accompanying her heartfelt 'terima kasih' makes me feel elated too. Its the least we could do in our drive in 'Saving Gaia', the Mother Earth we love dearly. Deep down I realize how green-minded this simple old lady whom we hardly take notice of, is. Kudos to you Ah Soh!

To Blog or Not To Blog

Blogging seems to be the in-thing nowadays especially for budding, aspiring writers who have loads to tell or simply to outpour their inner thots. I'm joining the bandwagon for much of the same reasons. But can I afford the time? Well, guess I'll just have to make the time then.
